Her experience in one of the most controversial states when it comes to legalizing policies that ban books and has deemed it unlawful to teach anything related to Critical Race Theory, to what it was like to live through a school shooting, is compelling. Every state has their flaws and what has allowed Stephanie to remain committed has been her resilience.
